Following an attack by Conor McGregor and his group of “30 thugs” that left UFC lightweight Michael Chiesa with facial lacerations, UFC Strawweight Champion Rose Namajunas shaken and a UFC employee with a broken hand — UFC President Dana White was not impressed to say the least.
“This is the most disgusting thing that has ever happened in the history of the company,” White told a group of reporters following the incident.
“There is a warrant out for Conor McGregor’s arrest. They’re looking for him right now. His plane cannot leave the state of New York,” White explained. The NYPD would refute that statement, saying that McGregor is simply wanted for questioning and no arrest warrant has been issued.
According to MMAJunkie, the situation has not yet escalated to that level and that if McGregor comes in to answer some questions it won’t have to.
As of now, the situation is still ongoing so we’ll be keeping you updated as the weekend goes on.
