Invicta FC 25 ‘Kunitskaya vs. Pa’aluhi’ results

Invicta FC brought their 25th offering, a 9-fight bonanza, to the Tachi Palace Hotel & Casino on a Thursday night to close out what was a pretty slow month for the sport of mixed martial arts on a high note.

In the main event of the evening, Russian Yuna Kunitskaya got her third crack at the bantamweight title against Invicta FC veteran Raquel Pa’aluhi. The belt was vacated by Tonya Evinger earlier this Summer before she was promoted to the UFC for a featherweight title bout against Cris Cyborg. Evinger held the title for 724 days.

The co-main event saw former Invicta FC strawweight champion Livia Renata Souza battle fellow Brazilian and promotional newcomer Janaisa Morandin. Souza was originally slated to take on Jodie Esquibel for the vacant strawweight title but that fight would be scrapped due to injury. Due to Morandin being a short notice replacement, the fight would be changed to a three-round non-title affair.

The card also included four exciting fighters making their professional mixed martial arts debut and a couple of contenders making a case for a future title shot as they climbed the ranks. You can get the full results and highlights from the show below.
