UFC Rotterdam: Overeem maps future plans after finishing Arlovski

Published

on

Not only did Alistair Overeem (41-14) take out Andrei Arlovski (25-12) with a crazy jumping front kick (that temporarily mangled his toe) followed by a perfect left hook – he also made the most of his time on the mic following the fight by pretty much mapping out the next year of his career.

“We’re gonna get that belt in November, November 12th in Madison Square Garden..and next year we’re going to be defending that belt in Amsterdam Arena.”

Overeem believes that he will face the winner of this weekend’s UFC 198 headliner between current champ Fabricio Werdum and Stipe Miocic in New York on November 12th. After winning the belt, he’ll make his first defense back in Amsterdam next year.

Do you guys feel that Overeem has done enough to all his shots at this point in his career? Sound off below.
