Paige VanZant’s next UFC bout will be for the women’s flyweight title. Or will it? VanZant tweeted out the news during tonight’s UFC 217 preliminary card broadcast on FS1.

If the news is true, VanZant will not know her opponent until the two finalists from TUF 26 face off on Decemeber 1st at the season finale for the inaugural 125 lbs women’s title. ESPN’s Brett Okamoto is reporting that there are no such plans for a PVZ title bout. UFC President Dana White would confirm that there are no such plans for Paige in regards to a shot at the UFC’s newest belt.

As of this writing, the show is about to begin the quarter-finals with Roxanne Modafferi, Emily Whitmire, Sijara Eubanks, DeAnna Bennett, Barb Honchak, Rachael Ostovich, Montana Stewart and Nicco Montano all fighting for the opportunity to move on to the final four.

VanZant was scheduled to make her flyweight debut against Jessica Eye at UFC 216 last month but was pulled from the bout due to multiple injuries and infections. She posted a record of 4-2 during her stint as a UFC strawweight where she’d make her Octagon debut at just 20-years-old against Kailin Curran back at UFC Fight Night 57. Her two losses came in headlining stints against Rose Namajunas and her most recent bout against Michelle Waterson.
