Getting into a slugfest with Nottingham knockout artist Paul ‘Semtex’ Daley (40-15-2) is never a good idea. Lorenz Larkin (18-7) found that out the hard way last night in San Jose after eating a left hook that separated him from consciousness.
“The fight went as planned,” Daley told Jimmy Smith in the post-fight interview. “I felt great and I knew how this would end,” he continued. “Lorenz Larkin was acting very uncharacteristically leading up to the fight and when I saw all of his antics and what not, I knew the fight would only end one way and that’s with him flat on the canvas.”

Daley would go on to give props to former opponents, Nick Diaz and Douglas Lima, saying that they were the only 170 lb’ers who could strike with him before saying the following, “Any welterweight in the division who stands with me is getting knocked the f— out; simple as that.” He’d then issue a call out to the undefeated Michael ‘Venom’ Page (12-0). The same Michael Page that fractured ‘Cyborg’ Santos’ skull with a flying knee last summer. Get your popcorn ready.
