When she’s not breaking arms inside of the world famous octagon, Ronda Rousey will be busy breaking hearts on the big screen. That’s right, the UFC champion will soon be sharing screen time with Turtle, Drama, Vincent, E, and Ari. She can officially add the phrase “Warner Bros. Darling’ to her lengthy resume.
Variety revealed earlier today that Rousey, who will defend her women’s bantamweight title against Sara McMann later this month in Vegas, has scored starring roles in two major Hollywood projects. The website is reporting that Rousey will be one of the female leads in the upcoming “Entourage” film that will begin shooting in March. Her name has also been attached to the silver screen adaptation of Brad Thor’s “Athena Project”. The latter has big time franchise written all over it.
You can catch Rousey’s big screen debut on August 14th in the States when The Expendables 3 hits theaters. She also has a major role in Fast and Furious 7, which has been delayed due to the tragic death of actor Paul Walker, and will likely be released in the Spring of 2015.
