With the unfortunate news of Amanda Nunes being removed from tonight’s UFC 213 main event with Valentina Shevchenko due to illness, the Kyrgyzstan born Muay Thai specialist is still looking for a fight. Enter Joanna Jedrzeczyk.
Jedrzecyzk, the current UFC strawweight champ, offered up her services to UFC President Dana White immediately upon hearing the unfortunate news of tonight’s bantamweight title bout being off. Shevchenko replied by suggesting that the two battle for the UFC flyweight women’s title. Shevchenko owns three victories over Jedrzeczyk in Muay Thai.

That title is expected to be introduced later this year as a part of the next Ultimate Fighter season. Jedrzejczk currently does not have a set opponent for her next strawweight title defense and Nunes versus Shevchenko is expected to be moved to a future PPV.
