UFC 200: It’s Time ‘Lesnar vs. Hunt’ video preview

Published

on

When former NCAA Division I champion, 4-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion and 2-time defending UFC heavyweight champion, Brock Lesnar, steps into the Octagon at UFC 200 for the first time in over four-and-a-half years he’ll find himself standing across a man who is known in the MMA community as the greatest walk-off KO one-hitter quitter of all-time in none other than New Zealand’s own, Mark Hunt.

Let’s cut the Mickey Mouse bulls**t folks. This is the true main event of UFC 200 whether you like it or not. This is the fight that is going put this event over the top and make it the highest grossing UFC PPV since UFC 100 when Lesnar defeated Mir in the main event to unify the UFC heavyweight titles. This is the only fight that the UFC could make to save the card after Conor McGregor went rogue for a split second.

While Lesnar and Hunt may be men of few words, their collective actions over the past couple of decades have done more than enough to sell us all on a fight that nobody in their right mind expected.

It’s the fight we needed to soothe us in between Tate vs. Nunes and Cormer vs. Jones II. It’s the fight that will steal every headline regardless of what happens on this super stacked 12-fight card for the ages. It’s the fight that will force both UFC and WWE fans to come together for one night to examine the past, present and future of a man whose journey we have tracked since he came on the scene nearly 20 years ago.
