Having a tough time following the drama that is UFC 223? You’re not alone. With multiple opponent changes for Khabib Nurmagomedov heading into Saturday night, it appears that we finally have one set in stone.

‘Ragin’ Al Iaquinta will step in to fight Nurmagomedov in the new main event of the evening and while the lightweight title will still be in the building, only Khabib will be eligible to procure it. Iaquinta weighed in .2 lbs over making him ineligible.

Iaquita was originally scheduled to face Paul Felder, who was also an option to face Khabib on short notice but would be shot down by the New York Commission due to being unranked.
