Watch: Conor McGregor storms the cage during Bellator 187

Conor McGregor showed up on Bellator cage last night and their may end up being some repercussions. 

McGregor would storm to the cage to celebrate his teammate Charlie Ward’s KO victory at Bellator 187. While inside of the cage, McGregor would shove referee Marc Goddard and slap a Bellator ring official.

With the event airing via tape delay in the United States last night, Bellator used the McGregor incident as a selling point to get eyes on their product after the live event came to a close in Dublin.

In the past, we’ve seen Paul Daley handed down a lifetime suspension from the UFC for hitting his opponent after the bell and Roy Nelson fined and suspended 9 months for kicking referee John McCarthy after the bell. With McGregor’s current status as the top draw for the UFC, expect the penalty to be closer to Nelson’s if anything is handed down at all.
