Canadian reporter Nathan Downer was looking to get a reaction out of Mike Tyson earlier today when the former undisputed heavyweight champion visited CP24’s studios in Toronto. Tyson was scheduled to promote his one man show, Mike Tyson: The Undisputed Truth, but Downer clearly had a different agenda. Downer would ask Tyson if he believed that being a convicted racist and Rob Ford supporter would hurt the Toronto mayor’s chances at re-election.
It’s no secret that Tyson wears his heart on his sleeve. This reaction couldn’t have been a surprise to Downer, who would later take to twitter to inform everyone he was ok and apologize for Tyson language.
I’m okay everybody. Unfortuantlely my question hurt Mike Tyson’s feelings. That was not my intentions. My apolgies for the language
