After a strong #GiveSDWomenaChance social media movement, the Smackdown Women’s Title Match has been moved to the main card of WrestleMania 33.
The six-pack challenge title match (pitting current reigning and defending 2-time champ Alexa Bliss against five other competitors) was originally scheduled as the first match of the evening at just after 5 p.m. ET. come WrestleMania Sunday. It now appears that the cruiserweight championship match between Neville and Austin Aries will kick off the pre-show with the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal going on during the second hour. Of course, all of this can still change over the next two days.
According to Dave Meltzer of WON, Undertaker versus Roman Reigns is currently scheduled to go on last at WrestleMania 33. The original plan was to have the Universal Title match between Goldberg and Brock Lesnar finish the show but it appears that either something big is being planned for Taker versus Reigns, or this may indeed be Taker’s final ride.
