John Cena will be taking another breaking from WWE programming immediately following WrestleMania 33 to join the cast of Daddy’s Home 2.

Deadline.com broke the news of Cena’s involvement in the sequel to the hit 2015 comedy. Cena will join Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg as the “Cool Dad” in the film to continue the storyline that ended the first film. Academy Award winner Mel Gibson and Academy Award nominee John Lithgow have also been announced for the Sean Anders directed film.

Cody Rhodes will reprise his role as Derek Sampson on CW’s Arrow in an episode that will debut toward the end of season 5 according to reports. Rhodes (birthname Cody Runnels) made his non-wrestling related acting debut on the program last October as the ‘Stardust’ dealing villain in an episode titled ‘A Matter of Trust’. Rhodes and Arrow star Stephen Amell were involved in a feud on WWE programming which culminated in a SummerSlam tag team match that saw Amell and Neville defeat Rhodes and Wade Barrett.

Chris Jericho will also be taking a break from WWE TV soon after WrestleMania to hit the road with Fozzy. Their Judas Rising tour is expected to begin on May 5th (which would leave him available up until WWE Payback) in Virginia and end in the UK sometime in June or July.
