Belfort earns his third head-kick KO of 2013

Since his last fight with Dan Henderson back at PRIDE 32 in 2006, Brazilian ‘Phenom’ Vitor Belfort has posted a record of 10-2 following his vicious head kick KO of Hendo in their rematch last night in Goiânia. You can’t ignore the fact that those 2 losses both came in title fights against arguably the greatest mixed martial artist of all-time, and the greatest in the sport today. You also cannot ignore Belfort’s highly publicized use of TRT (testosterone replacement therapy).
Regardless, Belfort is as dangerous as ever with the addition of a seemingly unstoppable kicking game to his already dangerous blitzkrieg striking style. With head-kick KO’s of Michael Bisping, Luke Rockhold, and now Dan Henderson all in front of his Brazilian faithful, Vitor is looking even more dangerous than he did in the late 90’s when he took the MMA world by storm.
Check out the highlights from Belfort’s third KO of the Night performance of the year below. That’s an extra $150K in head-kick KO’s during this calendar year if you’re counting. Phenomenal.
