Biggest WWE storylines of the week

Published

on

The recent brand split is creating an extremely interesting dynamic on WWE television right now. The wrestlers on “SmackDown” are dealing with the fallout of the “TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs” event while the wrestlers on “Monday Night Raw” are still developing feuds that will be settled at the “Roadblock: End of the Line” pay-per-view. Here is a breakdown of the three biggest storylines in the WWE right now.

James Ellsworth Continues to Cost Dean Ambrose Titles

After weeks of using James Ellsworth as a pawn in his feud with AJ Styles, Dean Ambrose finally got what he had coming for him. Ellsworth cost Ambrose the WWE World Championship at “TLC: Tables, Ladders & Chairs” by pushing Dean off a ladder just as he was about to grab the title and win the match.

Ellsworth attempted to repair his relationship with Ambrose by explaining that he wanted to face Styles in his upcoming title match. Ellsworth also tried to help Ambrose win the Intercontinental Championship on the latest episode of “SmackDown,” but he once again cost his friend a title. The feud between AJ Styles, James Ellsworth and Dean Ambrose is surely going to continue over the next few weeks, but it is only a matter of time before Ambrose turns on his little buddy.

Heath Slater and Rhyno’s Relationship is Starting to Crumble

After a surprising run as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, the strange relationship between Heath Slater and Rhyno looks like it is starting to fall apart. The underdog duo lost their titles in a quick match to Bray Wyatt and Randy Orton at “TLC.” They also lost their rematch a few days later on “SmackDown.” Slater and Rhyno each placed blame on their partner for losing the match.

Beauty and the Man Beast quickly became one of the most popular tag teams in the WWE, but it appears that they may never team up again. If the hatred continues, then it is only a matter of time before we see Heath Slater and Rhyno take on each other in a singles match. Heath Slater has been one of the best characters on “SmackDown” since the brand split, so hopefully he does not go back to obscurity now that he no longer has the tag team titles.

Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair Schedule Iron Man Match

While there is a lot going on every week on “Monday Night Raw,” Sasha Banks and Charlotte Flair continue to be involved in the most interesting feud on the show. After creating history by becoming the first two women to fight in a Hell in a Cell match, Sasha and Charlotte are set to create even more history at “Roadblock: End of the Line.”

This will be the first time two women take part in an Iron Man Match on the WWE main roster. The two women will fight for 30 minutes straight to determine who deserves the Raw Women’s Championship. It will also end their lengthy feud that has been filled with spectacular matches.
