Shinsuke Nakamura vacates IWGP IC Title -UPDATE-

It was announced by New Japan Pro Wrestling today that IWGP Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura has vacated his title in advance of him leaving for WWE at the end of this month. The title will be up for grabs as former IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega will face an as of this article an unknown opponent at NEW BEGINNING on February 14th.
UPDATE: January 30th’s Road to New Beginning is set to be Shinsuke Nakamura’s final match where he will team up one last with fellow CHAOS stable members; former NEVER Heavyweight Champion Tomohiro Ishii and reigning IWGP Heavyweight Champion Kazuchika Okada and they will be taking on Hirooki Goto, Hiroshi Tanahashi and reigning NEVER Heavyweight Champion Katsuyori Shibata in what should be a match for the ages and an amazing send off for Nakamura. With such a wealth of star power in the ring at one time I cannot see how it won’t be.
