Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton confirmed for SummerSlam

As teased on Monday Night RAW earlier this week, Brock Lesnar’s SummerSlam opponent has been revealed. It’s been confirmed that Orton was announced as Lesnar’s SummerSlam opponent following today’s Smackdown broadcast in Canada. While the announcement actually took place on the Sportsnet Aftermath show, it will take place on the USA Smackdown broadcast shortly.
Brock Lesnar is slated to main event UFC 200 as a one-off for the mixed martial arts promotion on Saturday night against Mark Hunt. Their three-round heavyweight bout was promoted from co-main to main event late last night after Jon Jones was popped for a USADA violation.
SummerSlam will take place on August 21st in Brooklyn, NY for the 2nd consecutive year. Other matches that are currently rumored for this event are AJ Styles vs. John Cena and Charlotte vs. Sasha Banks for the WWE Women’s Championship.
