‘Broken’ Donald Cerrone congratulates Darren Till on social media (Photo)

UFC bonus machine Donald Cerrone suffered yet another tough defeat last night inside of the Octagon. ‘Cowboy’ ran into a man who appears to have all the makings of a future superstar in Liverpool’s Darren Till in the main event of UFC Fight Night 118 in Gdansk, Poland, where he’d suffer a broken nose courtesy of the rangy welterweight’s pin-point accurate striking.
As evidenced by the Instagram post above, Cerrone was pure class in defeat.
One hell of a job @darrentill2 safe to say you broke the fuck out of my nose !!! I don’t make excuses nor will I ever. You had a great game plan and executed it perfectly. I did not look over look nor take you lightly. So again congratulations.
Till returned the favor with the following post on his Instagram account:
What an honour to share the Octagon with this legend @cowboycerrone. Thank you! #Respect
Cerrone leaves Poland on a three fight losing skid, the first of his Hall of Fame career. For Till, it’s onward and upward; you can expect to see him ranked in the top 15 at welterweight for the first time in his career considering that the previously unraked fighter just knocked off the #6 ranked Cerrone in the first round of their contest. While #15 ranked Mike Perry did take to the cage to call out Till in what appeared to be a pre-planned ordeal, ‘Platinum’ will have his hands full in Winnipeg on December 16th when he takes on Santiago Ponzinibbio.
