By The Numbers : What Is The Highest Wrestlemania Attendance?

This year marks the first year where the WWE have publicly gone after a record crowd for a Wrestlemania but how many people do they actually need to break the record?
Looking back at previous Wrestlemanias you have to go back almost 30 years to find the record set at Wrestlemania III at the Pontiac Silverdome in Michigan. It was there with a main event of Hulk Hogan vs Andre the Giant that the WWF at that time broke the record for largest recorded audience for a sporting event with over 93,000 attendees.
Wrestlemania Attendances – Wrestlemania I to Wrestlemania XXXI
As for breaking the record, Wrestlemania XXXII is being held at the AT&T stadium in Texas with a maximum capacity of 105,000 spectators. Therefore, even at 90% filled, the WWE should break their record. As for Wrestlemania XXXIII, with Orlando taking it back to the Citrus Bowl (Orlando Bids For WM XXXIII) any record set this year should last at least another couple of years.
