CABMMA overturns botched Silva-Dober result to No Contest

The most refreshing news of the day in the world of MMA comes out of Brazil, where the Comissão Atlética Brasileira de MMA did the right thing by overturning the result of the match that took place between Drew Dober and Leandro Silva this past weekend in Rio.
As awful as his mistake was (take a look at the video below) referee in charge Eduardo Herdy was man enough to admit that a major mistake was indeed made.
We can now take solace that what many have called the worst stoppage in UFC history could force commissions around the world to sit down and come up with a new plan to avoid further situations like the one that had everyone collectively screaming at their television this past weekend.
