Chris Jericho versus Kevin Owens U.S. Title rematch booked for Smackdown
A United States Championship rematch between Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens has been booked for tomorrow night’s episode of Smackdown Live.

Jericho forced Owens to tap to the ‘Walls of Jericho’ last night at Payback to win the title from Owens. It’s no secret that Jericho is set to begin touring with Fozzy this weekend so the plan is most likely for him to drop the title to Owens on Tuesday. Jericho’s band is booked for a show on the night of Smackdown’s next exclusive PPV, Backlash, making it impossible for him to defend the title against current #1 contender AJ Styles on that night.
