Watch: Los Angeles Kings mascot elbow drops CM Punk

Bailey, the beloved mascot of your current defending Stanley Cup Champions the Los Angeles Kings, has been entrenched in a feud with former 434-day WWE champion CM Punk for quite some time now. Bets have been made and verbal jabs have been exchanged on twitter, but things had yet to get physical between the 6’2″ wrestler and 6’4″ lion. That all changed last night when the Hawks met the Kings for a Saturday night Western Conference showdown inside of the Staples Center.
For the record, the Blackhawks would end up defeating the Kings 4-1 on the strength of 2 goals from their newest star – 2004 Conn Smythe winner Brad Richards. Also of note, this feud appears to be far from over based on the following tweet from the Chicago native. As a matter of fact, it appears that things are going to get even uglier moving forward.
.@BaileyLAKings I’ve put over worse! I’ll get you lion! If it’s the last thing I do!
