CM Punk vs. Mike Jackson official for UFC 225 in Chicago

The ‘Second City Saint’ will perform in front of sold out Chicago crowd once again, except this time, it won’t be in a WWE ring.
UFC President Dana White confirmed earlier today that CM Punk (0-1) will fight Mike Jackson (0-1) at UFC 225 on June 9th inside of the United Center. This is an unprecedented booking for the UFC with two 0-1 fighters likely participating on the PPV portion of the card.
Jackson has not competed since losing against Mickey Gall in a “CM Punk Eliminator” bout at UFC Fight Night 82 in early 2016. Punk’s lone UFC bout came against Gall in Cleveland at UFC 203 later that year. Gall finished both men via rear-naked choke early in the 1st round.
Punk has opened as a +200 underdog with Jackson currently sitting as a -260 favorite.
UFC 225 will be headlined by a world title rematch between current 185 lbs champ Robert Whittaker and number one contender Yoel Romero.
