Cody Pfister announces retirement following Bellator 174 victory

After a 20-fight career that spanned just over 7 years, Cody Pfister has decided to hang up his gloves for good.
Following a first round submission victory over Jonathan Gary in his Bellator debut, the lightweight competitor announced his retirement during his post-fight interview with Bellator color commentator Jimmy Smith.
Pfister leaves the sport with a record of 13-6-1 with 8 of those victories coming via finish.
