Is Conor McGregor headed to WWE?

After announcing his retirement from mixed martial arts yesterday on social media, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor was pulled from his upcoming UFC 200 main event rematch against Nate Diaz. This led to all sorts of speculation including a possible move to the world of professional wrestling. The following video released by WWE just moments ago has only added more fuel to the proverbial fire.

Oh ya, WWE just so happens to have a live event scheduled tomorrow night at the 3Arena in McGregor’s home town of Dublin.
