Countdown to UFC 184 ‘Pennington vs. Holm’ video

After the initial UFC 184 headliner, a middleweight title bout between Chris Weidman and Vitor Belfort, was scrapped due to an injury to the champ, the UFC was in need of a new co-main event – one with some meaning. With the women’s bantamweight title bout between Ronda Rousey and Cat Zingano was quickly promoted to the main event of the evening, it only made sense to bump highly decorated pro boxer Holly Holm’s UFC debut against TUF 18 semi finalist Raquel Pennington up from the prelims.
