The most dangerous striker in women’s MMA history is finally set to make her octagon debut.

Cristian ‘Cyborg’ Justino (15-1) has been wreaking havoc on 145 lbs competitors since beginning her professional mixed martial arts career in her hometown of Curitiba, Brazil over a decade ago. On May 14th, she’ll make her UFC debut when she fights on home soil for the first time since 2006.

Waiting for her when she enters the cage will be one of the toughest girls in the business, former Invicta FC flyweight #1 contender Leslie Smith (8-6-1).  Just eight days ago in Brisbane, we saw “The Peacemaker” collect a hard fought unanimous decision victory over Rin Nakai, a win that in hindsight earned her the biggest fight of her career.

Smith has posted a record of 2-2 since leaving Invicta FC to make her UFC debut against Sarah Kaufman in Quebec City a couple of years back. She’s one of those fighters that simply cannot be defined by her record. Leslie Smith will be remembered for her toughness. And at UFC 198 in Brazil, she’ll need every ounce of it when she faces Cyborg.

Cyborg vs. Smith will take place at a catchweight of 140 lbs. Here’s an updated look at UFC 198 ‘Werdum vs. Miocic’ as it stands today:
