Cyborg ready for drop to 135, plans to ‘retire’ Rousey

After getting Tito Ortiz out of her life (good move), top ranked featherweight Cris ‘Cyborg’ is ready to make the biggest pay day of her life by dropping down to 135 lbs.
Ortiz screwed up Cyborg’s shot at Rousey by playing hardball the wrong way when he tried to get the UFC in bed with his client. Saying that your fighter could potentially die if she got down to the proper weight for a fight with Rousey doesn’t exactly spell promoters dream. Now that Ortiz is out of the picture, things look good for Cyborg, and the UFC, in terms of getting this fight. This is the marquee match up in women’s MMA right now and Cyborg announcing this move on the eve of Rousey’s next defense is no accident.
