Dana White confirms that Amanda Nunes may be next for Cyborg-Holm winner

The first female champion versus champion mega fight could very well be headed the Octagon in 2018.
In a conversation with Combate‘s Evelyn Rodrigues, UFC President Dana White said that current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Amanda Nunes (15-4) is interested in facing the winner of tonight’s UFC 219 main event between featherweight champ Cris Cyborg (18-1) and former bantamweight queen Holly Holm (11-3).
“I love this idea and I love that Amanda wants this,” White told Combate. ” To be a big star, you need to have those great fights.”
Nunes has successfully defended her title twice (against Ronda Rousey and Valentina Shevchenko) since defeating Miesha Tate in the main event of the UFC’s landmark 200 event to become the 4th fighter to hold the promotions first women’s title.
