Fight Capsule: Miocic dominates ‘Big Country’ in Manitoba

Stipe Miocic started of his UFC career with a bang. After entering the promotion with a lot of a hype and a 6-0 record to back it up, he would take out Joey Beltran, Phil De Fries, and Shane del Rosario in that order to earn himself a headlining spot against Stefan Struve in Nottingham.
Struve and Miocic would put on a show for the fans, but it would be Miocic who would fall out of UFC title contention after being finished by the Skyscraper in devastating fashion.
In his next contest, Miocic would have the opportunity to show off what he learned at the Strong Style gym in Independence, Ohio and get himself back on track. Relive the full fight below, and read what our very own Sean Sheehan had to say about the contest here.
Catch Stipe Miocic this Saturday night when he squares off against Fabio Maldonado. The two men will headline the TUF Brazil 3 finale in a bout scheduled for five heavyweight rounds in Sao Paulo, Brazil. The festivities kick off at 7 p.m. ET on FOX Sports 1.
