Finding the Next Potential Undertaker Part 1: Face of Fears

This article comes to us by way of @HeelArlo:

We know that when The Undertaker’s name is mentioned, we all receive goosebumps. The first thing that will pop in our mind is undeniably the greatest WrestleMania streak. Although Brock Lesnar already broke the streak, it will still haunt out dreams. Let’s not focus about The Undertaker, I’m here to talk about the possible modern-era-Undertaker.

FINN BÀLOR – First in our list is the Demon, Finn Bàlor. He was drafted to RAW as the 5th overall pick (he was even picked before John Cena!). Back in his NXT days, he was a force to reckon with, he became a one-time NXT Champion with the longest reign at 292 days. While in New Japan, he became a 3-time IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion, 6-time Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champion, and many more. He was also a two-time winner of the Best of the Super Juniors tournament(2010, 2013). He was also the founding member of one of the best stable in wrestling history (and the most popular), the Bullet Club. Bàlor, in my opinion, is the best option for the modern-era Undertaker; face and body paints, awesome entrance, sick move set, oh boy, I couldn’t ask for any more. He is the TOTAL package.

KEVIN OWENS – Next on our list is Kevin Owens. Owens is possibly the best heel around the WWE with his hilarious, yet heel-y promos, incredible mic skills, and mouth-opening move set. His feud with Sami Zayn is unquestionably one of the best feuds in the WWE history. He debuted in NXT Takeover: R Evolution where he won against CJ Parker. Later that night, his best friend and rival, Sami Zayn became the NXT Champion. Owens came to the ring and congratulated Sami and in a blink of an eye, Owens powerbombed Zayn to renew their longstanding feud for the masses to enjoy. He became a one-time NXT Champion, two-time WWE Intercontinental Champion, and could possibly be the next Undertaker.

BRAY WYATT – It’s not an Undertaker replacement article without the Eater of the Worlds, Bray Wyatt. Wyatt, previously known as Husky Harris, was a former member of The Nexus. He was the leader of the hairiest stable, The Wyatt Family consisting of himself, Luke Harper, Erick Rowan and the newly-added Braun Strowman (Rowan and Wyatt remain together on Smackdown with Strowman on RAW and the recouping Harper a free agent). Although he’s been in the company for 4 years (and counting), he never won any championship in the WWE. He has the creepiest schtick in the new era. With his unconfusingly awesome mic skills plus his breath-taking in-ring skills, Bray is the next potential modern-era Undertaker.
