First ever ‘Asylum Match’ announced for Extreme Rules

Following Dean Ambrose’s victory over Chris Jericho at Payback last month, things have only gotten stranger. 2 weeks ago, Jericho put an to Ambrose’s sidekick, a potted plant named Mitch, by breaking it over his head after Stephanie McMahon put an end to Ambrose’s short lived Monday Night RAW talk show. The following week, Ambrose would get revenge by destroying Jericho’s infamous $15,000 jacket. Jericho would follow that up by putting the “Lunatic” in a straight jacket on Smackdown bringing us to where we are today.

Earlier tonight on RAW in Greensboro, NC – the first ever “Asylum” match was announced for Extreme Rules. Per Shane McMahon via Ambrose’s request – both me will be locked in a steel cage with various weapons at their disposal. The only way to win the match is via submission or pinfall.
