Floyd Mayweather booked to fight at RIZIN 14 against Tenshin Nasukawa

All that talk about Floyd Mayweather competing in mixed martial arts appears to have some substance to it after all. Well, sort of.
In what was a surprise announcement to just about everyone in the world of combat sports, it was reveald last night that the undefeated boxing legend will be a part of RIZIN’s annual New Years Eve show. His opponent will be none other than undefeated kickboxer and mixed martial artist Tenshin Nasukawa, a man who has been a staple for the Tokyo based Federation over the past couple of years.
At the ripe young age of 20, Nasukawa holds a record of 27-0 as a kickboxer and 4-0 as a mixed martial artist. Mayweather, who is 21 years his senior, holds an unprecedented record of 50-0 as a professional boxer.
The showdown is expected to headline the card. Expect an announcement on what weight class the bout will be contested at and which rules it will be fought under to be released later this week.
