Glory 14 ‘Zagreb’ Event Preview (Video)

Mirko ‘Cro Cop’ Filipovic’ has posted a record of 6-0 since returning to kickboxing back in March of 2012. Nearly two years later to the date he’ll be met with thunderous applause when he maks his Glory debut inside of the Arena Zagreb in Croatia. Standing across from him will be ‘The Flying Gentleman’ himself, Remy Bonjasky.

Bonjasky hasn’t exactly been himself as of late. He’ll take the first three-fight losing streak of his 110 fight career into the Glory ring with him on March 8th when he takes on Cro Cop for the second time. The first meeting took place at the K-1 World GP in 2002 in Fukoda where Cro Cop would emerge victorious when the referee had seen Bonjasky take enough unanswered punishment.

Glory lightweight champion Andy Ristie will defend his title against Davit Kiria in the nights co-feature, and before that a #1 contender will be determined in a 4-man tournament. Check out a video preview of the event from Glory below.
