GSP to Bisping: I can fight you anytime after October

The proposed fight between current UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping and former 2-time welterweight champ Georges St. Pierre appears to be on ice, for now.
When the fight was first announced, it looked like the UFC had found their big name PPV headliner for their annual July 4th weekend International Fight Week event. That hope was erased when St. Pierre released the following video on social media earlier today.

“Mr. Bisping, I cleared my entire schedule to get ready for training camp after the summer. So, I can fight you anytime after October – you pick the date,” St. Pierre said in a video message to Bisping. If this fight does end up coming to fruition, it’ll be the first time St. Pierre has stepped into the octagon since eking out a victory against Johny Hendricks back in November of 2013. However, Bisping has gone on record to say that he will take a fight against another fighter, likely Yoel Romero, this summer. Stay tuned as this story continues to unfold.
