Gustafsson-Johnson, Henderson-Mousasi headed to Sweden for UFC on FOX 14

A light heavyweight #1 contenders bout between Swedish “Mauler” Alexander Gustafsson (16-2) and Anthony “Rumble” Johnson (18-4) will serve as the main event for the 2nd stadium show in UFC history. The fight, which will be of the 5 round variety for UFC on FOX 14, will take place on Swedish soil inside of the Tele2Arena – a 30,000 + seater in Stockholm.

A meniscus tear would force Gustafsson to withdraw from his rematch with champion Jon Jones that was scheduled for last fall. Much to displeasure of Gustafsson, Daniel Cormier would be inserted into the #1 contenders to take on Jones and, well, we all know what happened there. A leg injury would delay that fight now putting both of these fights, which feature the top four light heavyweights in the world, just weeks apart.

The co-main event of the evening will see Dan Henderson (30-12) returning to middleweight for the first time since 2010 to take on former DREAM and Strikeforce light heavyweight champion Gegard Mousasi (35-5-2).
