The Hardy Boyz sign with ROH after defeating The Young Bucks for the tag titles

Maybe they aren’t going to WWE after all?
The Hardy Boyz made a surprise appearance earlier tonight at Ring of Honor’s Manhattan Mayhem VI show to challenge The Young Bucks for the ROH tag team titles. After The Bucks had already defeated the team of Lio Rush and Jay White in their scheduled match, the lights went out and Matt and Jeff Hardy appeared.

Matt pinned Nick Jackson after Jeff hit a swanton and The Hardy Boyz were crowned the new ROH tag champs after their first match with the company. Matt Hardy then took the mic to bash TNA and say that the deal they signed with ROH was bigger than the one the Bucks had signed to stay there.
We now know that the Hardys will be with ROH full-time from now until Supercard of Honor on the day before WrestleMania. Them actually signing long-term with ROH beyond then may or may not be storyline. They could still debut for WWE sometime after April 1st. We will let you know more as this story develops.
