Hideo Itami makes an immediate impact at NXT TakeOver: Fatal 4-way

As anticipated, Kenta made his NXT in-ring debut last night as a part of the WWE Network’s 2-hour Takeover: Fatal 4- way special. After being introduced as Kenta by newly anointed GM William Regal, the international superstar would reveal his new ring name – Hideo Itami – as a tribute to his hero, who he did not officially name.
Following their loss to the Lucha Dragonz, now former NXT tag team champions The Ascension came out to interrupt Itami’s ceremony in hopes of getting a bit of redemption. Check out the video below to see what happened. Also, it has been confirmed that Itami will perform in a match on next Thursday nights episode of NXT.
