Invicta FC set to make Fight Pass debut on September 6th with ‘Waterson vs. Tamada’

The wait is over. Invicta FC will make its long-awaited, and highly anticipated Fight Pass debut on September 6th live from Municipal Auditorium in Kansas City, Missouri. Long time UFC Chief Content Officer Marshall Zelaznik and Invicta FC President Shannon Knapp made the announcement on a conference call earlier today.

The card will be headlined by Invicta FC atomweight champion Michelle ‘The Karate Hottie’ Waterson and Yasuko ‘Ikuko’ Tamada of Jewels and Valkyrie fame. Waterson will be making the first defense of the title she won off of Jessica Penne back at Invicta FC 5 in the greatest Invicta title fight of all-time. Fire it up on Fight Pass if you haven’t seen it.

Invicta now has an exclusive deal with the UFC to air all of their past and future content over on Fight Pass. As of this very moment you can check out the full archive (which includes the past 7 events) and you can expect more events on the regular according to Shannon Knapp.

The last Invicta FC event took place way back on December 7th of last year and many fans have been impatient waiting for their return. Knapp had a vision though and in some cases, this one in particular, patience makes perfect. Invicta fans know that Knapp has come along way and gone through multiple headaches in terms of streaming and pay-per-view issues. Invicta has now found a permanent and reliable home where fans of the promotion, and fight fans that have yet to experience the worlds leading all-female mixed martial arts league can watch, and re-watch the full library, and every event from here on out without and nagging technical issues.

Below you will find the full fight card for Invicta FC 8 ‘Waterson vs. Tamada,’ which features two title fights, as it stands today.
