Jawbreaker! Cerrone shatters Makdessi at UFC 187

Donald Cerrone claimed yet another victim last night at UFC 187. The UFC’s resident “Cowboy” was already having his way with Nova Scotia’s John Makdessi when he decided to fire off a left head kick that would break the jaw of his opponent. Makdessi backed up and motioned for a time out after eating Cerrone’s shin. Referee Jason Herzog would then wave off the fight after it was clear that Makdessi was no longer interested in dealing with anything else Cerrone’s had to offer him on the night.

That makes it 8 wins in a row for Cerrone now. With Khabib Nurmagomdov currently on the shelf, you can expect that Cerrone’s 29th fight with Zuffa will be for a UFC title.
