Joanna Jedrzejczyk announces her UFC 211 opponent

4x defending UFC women’s strawweight champion and #1 ranked female P4P fighter in the world, Joanna Jedrzejczyk (13-0), recently revealed who will be challenging for her title this coming May in Dallas.
Her opponent, Jessica Andrade (16-5) is currently the 3rd ranked strawweight in the world sitting pretty right behind Claudia Gadelha (who Joanna has beaten twice) and Karolina Kowalkiewicz (Joanna’s most recent victim) making her the right choice to challenge for the strap at UFC 211.
Jedrzejczyk versus Andrade will serve as the co-main event of the evening before Heavyweight Champion Stipe Miocic (16-2) attempts to tie the heavyweight title defense record when he defends against former champ Junior dos Santos (18-4). A heavyweight ‘insurance’ bout between former champ Fabricio Werdum (21-6-1) and Ben Rothwell (36-10) has also been announced for the card.
UFC 211 takes place on May 13th inside of the American Airlines Arena. Tickets go on sale at 10 am CST for Fight Club Members on Wednesday March 22nd and Thursday March 23rd for UFC Newsletter subscribers. The general public can purchase tickets beginning at 10 am CST on Friday March 24th.
