Jonno Mears pulls off the first ‘Walls of Jericho’ submission in MMA history
Aaron Jones was stopped and dropped by the Walls of Jericho.
History was made yesterday inside of Bolton, England’s Macron Stadium during Full Contact Contender 19. In his professional MMA debut, Jonno Mears became the first fighter in the history of the sport to submit his opponent via a Boston Crab. Even Chris Jericho gave the submission his seal of approval.

While applying the submission—made famous by Jericho under the ‘Walls of Jericho’ name— Mears even stuck his tongue while eyeing the camera like a true professional wrestler. Shout out to FCC for posting the video.
