‘King of the Ring’ results: All Hail King Bad News

The 8-man ‘King of the Ring’ tournament that started last night on RAW concluded earlier tonight on the WWE network with Neville and Bad News Barrett beating their respective opponents to advance to the finals. Here’s how it went down:

Semi-Finals:

• Sheamus vs. Neville: Neville wins via pinfall after hitting his Red Arrow finisher. This was all due to a distraction from Dolph Ziggler that led to Sheamus missing a Brogue Kick and Neville landing a kick to the back of Sheamus’ head.

• Bad News Barrett vs. R-Truth: Barrett landed a thumb poke to the eye of Truth that the referee couldn’t see from his angle. Barrett loaded up his Bull Hammer Elbow outside of the ring and landed it with authority before pinning Truth for the victory.

Finals:

• Neville vs. Bad News Barrett: Barrett landed a monster Bull Hammer elbow as “The Man That Gravity Forgot” came flying in to put him away for the victory and become King.
