WATCH: Kurt Angle announces Gracie-Shamrock 3, Slice-Dada 5000 for Bellator 149

Some 20+ years after their first meeting at UFC 1 in Denver, Colorado, UFC Hall of Famer’s Royce Gracie (14-2-3) and Ken Shamrock (28-16-2) will mix it up for the third and final time on February 19th in Houston, Texas.
Last night at Bellator 145, recently signed Bellator “ambassador” Kurt Angle had been teasing a big announcement. Bellator made it look like he was going to be the one who would be fighting Shamrock but that wouldn’t be the case. Angle would instead introduce legendary Brazilian submission specialist Royce Gracie as Shamrock’s next Bellator opponent after introducing the man who beat him at Bellator 138, Kimbo Slice (5-2) and his former friend Dada 5000 (2-0) as the co-main event to their main event.
This fight will headline Bellator 149 and will mark the first time in almost a decade that Royce Gracie has competed in the sport that he put on the map. Gracie and Shamrock still hold the record for the longest fight in UFC which ended in a 36-minute draw at UFC 5.
