Main Event for MITB made official; 5 qualifying matches made for ladder match

The main event for this year’s Money in the Bank PPV was made official in the opening segment of tonight’s Monday Night RAW out of Baltimore, Maryland. Seth Rollins will face Roman Reigns in a World Heavyweight Championship match for the title he never lost before being sidelined due to a knee injury back in November. Co RAW GM Shane McMahon made the announcement with Reigns and Rollins present.

5 Money in the Bank qualifier matches were announced for entry into the annual ladder match where the winner gets a briefcase containing a World Heavyweight title shot contract that they can cash in at any moment. Those matches are as follows:

• Sheamus vs. Sami Zayn
• AJ Styles vs. Kevin Owens
• The Miz vs. Cesaro
• Dean Ambrose vs. Dolph Ziggler
• Chris Jericho vs. Apollo Crews
