Megan Anderson’s first title defense to headline Invicta FC 24 on July 15th

Featherweight KO artist Megan Anderson’s first title defense has been scheduled for this summer in Kansas City.
Anderson (8-2), will headline Invicta 24 opposite the undefeated Helena Kolesnyk (5-0); the announcement was made earlier today on the official website for the promotion.
After losing to Cindy Dandois in her Invicta debut, Anderson went on to finish her next 4 opponents via KO/TKO, the last of which would earn her the 145 lbs title vacated by Cris ‘Cyborg’ Justino (17-1).
While Anderson had been making a ton of noise on social media of late in an attempt to set up a bout with the top ‘Cyrborg’, the UFC appears to be putting that division on ice with the news of Germaine De Randamie being uninterested in defending her UFC title.
Anderson versus Kolesnyk and the rest of Invicta FC 24 will take place inside of the Scottish Rite Temple on July 15th and can be seen exclusively on UFC Fight Pass.
