Michael Bisping to replace Anderson Silva, will headline UFC Shanghai on two weeks notice

Just one week after being put to sleep by Georges St. Pierre at UFC 217, now former middleweight champion Michael Bisping has been announced as a short notice replacement to headline UFC Fight Night Shanghai. MMAFighting was the first to report the news.
This news comes just one day after Anderson Silva was taken out of the main event of the show against Kelvin Gastelum due USADA announcing that the former champion had been flagged for a doping violation. UFC Fight Night Shanghai ‘Bisping vs. Gastelum’ will air exclusively on Fight Pass on November 26th. This will be the first UFC event to take place on mainland China.
