Motörhead to play NXT TakeOver: London?

As a life long fan of Motörhead and professional wrestling – this gets me giddy.
According to Triple H, the legendary London-based metal icons known as Motörhead will likely have something to do with NXT’s upcoming TakeOver event in London.
BIG NEWS for #NXTLoud and @WWENXT #NXTTakeOver: London coming from meeting with Lemmy yesterday… #StayTuned
— Triple H (@TripleH) October 28, 2015
Triple H continues to walk out to “The Game” and “King of Kings” to this day. He even came out with Batista, Ric Flair and Randy Orton as part of Evolution to “Line in the Sand” as recent as 2014 when the group was reformed sans Flair.
Like many, I was first introduced to Motörhead decades ago when I saw them play in the living room of Mike, Vyvyan, Neil & Rick on an episode of The Young Ones. To be honest with you guys, for better or worse, I’ve never been the same since.
While one can only hope that Lemmy and company will be present when NXT does London on December 16th inside of the Wembley Arena, let’s not get too excited yet until it becomes official. Stay tuned.
