Neil Magny replaces injured Matt Brown on TUF Latin America 2 finale

UFC welterweight Neil Magny (16-4) has been tapped to fill in for the injured Matt Brown (20-13) later this month in Monterrey, Mexico to take on TUF 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum (11-1).
As first reported by FOXSports earlier this week, Brown was forced to withdraw from the TUF Latin America 2 finale headliner due to an ankle injury suffered during training camp. Magny was originally scheduled to fight Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson at UFC 195 ‘Lawler vs. Condit’ on January 2nd of next year. As of now, Thompson will remain on that card with a new opponent TBD.
Magny tied Roger Huerta for most wins in a calendar year (5) last year and will look to end 2015 with a 4-1 record as he continues to climb the ladder inside of one of the most horrific divisions in the sport.
