Nicco Montano wants Valentina Shevchenko at UFC 228 in September

Inaugural UFC women’s flyweight champion Nicco Montano is healthy and she’s finally ready to make the first defense of her world title. The champ took to social media today to announce her potential return date.
As stated in the above post, if Nicco gets her way she will be facing Valentina Shevchenko in Vegas on September 8th as a part of UFC 228.
Montano went through Lauren Murphy, Montana Stewart and Barb Honchak before emerging as the surprise victor of The Ultimate Fighter Season 26 tournament by defeating MMA vet Roxanne Modafferi at the TUF 26 Finale.
Shevchenko looked impressive in her flyweight debut, finishing Priscila Cachoeira via rear naked choke at Fight Night Belem after nearly two rounds of explicit dominance. Expect the Muay Thai and Kickboxing sensation to open as a heavy favorite when this fight is officially booked.
